Youth Info Line (1 800 935-5555) provides information about the Youth Employment Strategy’s programs and services available to youth, businesses, community organizations and the general public.

youth.gc.ca offers employment and career-related information for youth. The web site includes information for youth, employers, career counsellors, parents, educators, and community groups.

Human Resource Centres of Canada (HRCC) for Students offices, which are a component of the Summer Work Experience program, provide job posting services to recipients and employers and offer services to youth to help them prepare their entry into the labour market. These offices are normally open from May to August each year. To locate the nearest office, call 1 800 935-5555.

Looking for a Job helps to guide youth through the job search process. It offers self-assessment tools and information on how to apply for a job and prepare for an interview. It also provides information on today’s job market and identifies the skills employers are looking for in an employee.
