Instructions for YOUR TRAVEL IN CANADA

The numbering scheme of the explanations provided below corresponds to the numbering scheme of the questions asked.

1. Selecting a province or territory will help to narrow the search and only links related to your choice will be returned. For example if you choose New Brunswick a link to the New Brunswick Ministry of Tourism will be returned.

2. If you are interested in local attractions, festivals, and activities in the area you are visiting, select Tourism. For information about leisure activities such as hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, or camping, select Adventure.

3. Selecting the month in which you will be travelling will help to narrow the search and only links related to your choice will be returned. In some cases the month is also related to the destination you have chosen. For example if you were to select May and Canada's Capital Region, a link for The Tulip Festival would be returned.

4. Relevant transportation information is returned. Selecting 'AIR' for example, brings back helpful links such as airline company web sites and information for air travellers. If you choose not to select a mode of transportation, no transportation related information will be returned.

5. Selecting Yes will bring back links related to Accessible Travel and Transportation.

7. If you choose not to select an interest no related links will be returned. Where possible the special interest sites have been linked to the destination. For example if you indicated you were interested in Parks and Conservation Areas and you were travelling to British Columbia, a link for British Columbia Provincial Parks as well as Parks Canada would be returned.
