First elected as Member of Parliament for Sudbury in 1988, Diane Marleau was
re-elected in 1993, 1997, 2000 and 2004. She has held the posts of Minister of
Public Works and Government Services, Minister of Health, and Minister for
International Cooperation and Minister responsible for La Francophonie.
Re-elected as Vice-Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and
International Trade in February 2004, she has also served as a Member of the
Standing Committee on the Environment and Sustainable Development.
