Canada in Tunisia

Tunisia is one of Canada’s oldest partners in Africa, and the oldest in the Maghreb (North Africa). The Canadian Embassy, the first in the Maghreb, was inaugurated in Tunis in 1966. Our mission is to represent Canadian interests in a variety of fields: political, economic, trade, cooperation, culture and education.

The Canadian Embassy organizes monthly meetings in order to give Canadians living in Tunisia the opportunity to get to know each other better. The next such meetings will take place January 27 and February 24, 2006. The location will be communicated at a later time.
