Info Source: Directory of Federal Government Enquiry Points - Update for 2004-2005 |
The Directory of Federal Government Enquiry Points is an Info Source publication. The directory features addresses and general contact information for approximately 250 federal government
institutions.
At this time, we are requesting updates for the 2004-2005 edition. Please verify the accuracy of the data pertaining to your institution and make amendments or additions if necessary.
Updates are required by November 26, 2004.
Institutions generally include:
- mailing addresses,
- telephone numbers,
- numbers for telecommunications devices for the hearing impaired, and
- electronic mail addresses.
Institutions generally list:
- communications and public enquiry sections,
- publications units,
- departmental libraries,
- Access to Information and Privacy units,
- personnel enquiries, and
- web sites.
Larger institutions may have associated offices or branches. Examples include the Canadian Ice Service within Environment Canada or the Canada Map Office within Natural Resources Canada. These offices, branches or other affiliated Crown corporations or corporate interests may also be listed. The entries may be followed by a cross-reference,
e.g.:
Canada Lands Company Limited
(see Public Works and Government Services Canada).
