Library and Archives Canada offers a variety of services and programs for members of diverse cultural communities. These services include specialized reference assistance, digital projects, access to images that reflect ethnic history, databases of writers, artists, and immigration records, and specialized help in genealogical searches. LAC aims to provide all Canadians access to their history, which includes multilingual book, photograph, and newspaper collections. Also available are finding aids in the Archives geared toward immigration records.
