Surbhi Bhargava of Surbhi's Mehndi Art will talk about and give a hands-on demonstration of Mehndi, the traditional art of henna painting in India. Learn to apply unique designs to hands or feet using Mehndi, a natural dye made from henna leaves and various other natural ingredients.

Black History in Ontario: The End of Slavery (Virtual Exhibit)
The Black population of Ontario has its origins in the aftermath of the American Revolution. Blacks came to the province in the 1780s both as slaves and as members of Loyalist Regiments. Over the decades that followed slavery was abolished, settlement expanded and Black citizens have been recognized for their contributions to the growth of Ontario and as a vital part of the rich multi-cultural fabric of the province.
