Regulatory Approval
The following documents are to provide applicants seeking regulatory approval under the Bank Act, the Trust and Loan Companies Act, the Insurance Companies Act, and the Cooperative Credit Associations Act with OSFI's information filing requirements, as well as administrative guidance, as appropriate, to facilitate the application process.
Deemed Approvals
Provisions relating to applications subject to deemed approval of the Superintendent under the Bank Act, Trust and Loan Companies Act, Insurance Companies Act and Cooperative Credit Associations Act, came into force on October 24, 2001, with the promulgation of Bill C-8.
