On behalf of the Government of Canada and its Family
Violence Initiative (FVI), the Public Health Agency of
Canada operates the National Clearinghouse on Family Violence
(NCFV). The NCFV is Canada’s resource centre for information
on violence within relationships of kinship, intimacy, dependency
or trust.

NCFV resources and services are available free of charge
in both English and French.

Funding is available for national projects that adopt Crime Prevention through Social Development (CPSD) as a primary approach to address risk factors that contribute to crime and victimization, particularly among Women, Children and Youth at risk, or Aboriginal peoples. Projects must work in partnership with organizations from other provinces and/or territories. Original proposals must be postmarked by December 9, 2005
