1Province or territory of residence is defined as where you have most recently lived for at least 12 consecutive months, not including any time you spent as a full-time student at a post-secondary institution.

2To be a full-time student, you must be enrolled in a minimum of 60 percent of a full course load (students with permanent disabilities may enrol in 40 percent of a full course load).

3To be a part-time student, you must be enrolled in between 20 percent - 59 percent of a full course load (students with permanent disabilities may enrol in between 20 percent - 39 percent of a full course load).

4A public education institution is defined as a university or community college.

5A private education institution is defined as a trade school, a private vocational school and/or a career college.
