COPY: Appointed Actuaries of Federally Registered Life Insurance Companies and Fraternal Benefit Societies





The Filing Directions in section A.10 of the 2002 Memorandum to the Appointed Actuary indicate that an electronic copy of the Appointed Actuary's Report is required to be filed in addition to two signed paper copies. The Memorandum indicates that the electronic copy may be filed by e-mail or by sending a copy on diskette or CD.

Because security over the Internet cannot be assured, OSFI has decided e-mail should not be used. Please send the electronic copy on a diskette or CD together with the paper copies.
