Information for voters
Voter Information ServiceVoter Information Service (where do I vote?, returning officer, list of candidates, map, employment during the election and more)
NOTE: The deadline to register to vote by special ballot was 6:00 p.m., local time, on January 17.  Electors away from their riding who were issued a special ballot voting kit must ensure that the completed ballot arrives at Elections Canada in Ottawa by 6:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on election day, January 23. Electors who requested a special ballot in their own riding must ensure that the returning officer for that riding receives the completed ballot before the local polling stations close on January 23. By law, late ballots cannot be counted.
