Your Reminder Card Is Being Sent Out

OTTAWA, Thursday, January 5, 2006 — The Chief Electoral Officer of Canada, Jean-Pierre Kingsley, announced that today, Friday and Monday a reminder card will be mailed to every home in every electoral district in Canada.

"The card reminds electors to contact the office of the returning officer if there are errors on the voter information card, which was sent to them some days ago, or if they did not receive one," said Mr. Kingsley. "The card provides recipients with the date of the election, instructions for registration and other key electoral information."
