TakingITGlobal.org is a global online community. It inspires youth to make a difference. It provides a source of information on issues. It offers opportunities to take action. It serves as a bridge to get involved locally, nationally and internationally in areas of interest. This portal is a bridge to events, organizations and scholarships around the world. Get involved through discussions, workshops, updates and projects.

YES Canada
The YES Canada Country Network aims to build links and understanding between Canadian and international youth. The network also aims to create a space where global youth connect to achieve common goals. Surf the site to find out more about the network and global issues. Discover ways to get involved today!

CODE's Project Love
CODE's Project Love is a great opportunity for Canadians to act as global citizens by sending much-needed educational materials to students and teachers in developing countries. The program talks to young people about international development in terms they can understand. And it gives them a hands-on activity to help their global neighbours their own age.

War Child Canada
War Child Canada works across North America and around the world to assist war-affected children. This organization touches the lives of thousands of children and youth in war zones. It helps to relieve them from the horrors of war. It restores their sense of hope and dignity. The organization has also engaged hundreds of thousands of youth across Canada. It has inspired them to make a difference. It has connected them with their peers around the world. It has helped them learn about issues they care about.

Human SecurityI believe in a world where youth has a voice
The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) hosts a youth-focused site where young people have their own voice. On this page, you can explore how human security affects us all. Just youth–Development and Peace
In Canada, Development and Peace works to educate Canadians about the causes of poverty and injustice that affect people in developing countries. Development and Peace pushes for alternatives to stop unjust situations that affect us all. Check out its site for information on World Youth Day. Zerolimit-The Latulippe Society Inc.
The Latulippe Society Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to the development and teaching of life skills to Canadian youth and youth from elsewhere. Founded in July 2000, our organization is known under the brand name ZEROLIMIT and our primary mission is to awaken the potential of the young at heart.

World Vision 30 Hour Famine
EVERY DAY, 27,000 children die because they are hungry or can't afford to see a doctor. In 2002, 155,000 Canadian teens decided to make a difference by signing up for the 30 Hour Famine. Together they raised almost $4 million to provide food, clean water, medicine and education to children around the world. One person CAN make a difference. Refuse to do nothing!

Équiterre
Equiterre is an organization dedicated to promoting ecological, socially just choices through action, education and research. One of its projects is the promotion of fair trade practices. Using the coffee trade as an example, this site explains how fair trade practices can be used to counter human and environmental exploitation is southern countries.

River of Sand
This Web site was originally created to follow the day-by-day production of a TV documentary, narrated by Bruce Cockburn, about desertification in Mali. The site now features the best music clips and still photos from the film.
