The Reducing Paper Burden website is designed to inform Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business stakeholders about the federal government's efforts to reduce the cost of complying with government regulations. |
The Paperwork Burden Reduction Initiative (PBRI) is a public–private sector partnership aimed at reducing the costs of paperwork and regulatory compliance for small businesses, making it easier for them to do business in Canada and around the world.

PBRI Annual Report Available Soon
The Advisory Committee on Paperwork Burden Reduction's (ACPBR's) first annual progress report, scheduled to be released in early 2006, provides the framework for the
PBRI. It describes the benefits and importance of the
PBRI, challenges it addresses, opportunities it presents, vision and strategy for moving toward real outcomes, and impacts. |
