The Strategic Policy and Planning Branch of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada is the centre of the Department's policy development work. It plays a key role in integrating work in other areas of the Department and supporting the Minister in meeting policy challenges. It also provides corporate strategic support for the Minister and Deputy Minister in the area of Intergovernmental relations. The branch is also responsible for the production of rigorous, independent and objective audit and evaluation studies.
