Human Resources and Skills Development Canada makes use of a number of channels for reaching Canadian youth, employers, community service providers, parents and educators with information on youth-related programs and services, including those offered under the Youth Employment Strategy. They include:

  • Government of Canada Information Line (1 800 O-CANADA) provides information about federal programs and services available for youth, businesses, community organizations and the general public.

  • Youth Info Line (1 800 935-5555) provides information about Youth Employment Strategy programs and services available for youth, businesses, community organizations and the general public.

  • youth.gc.ca offers employment and career-related information for youth. The Web site includes information for youth, parents, employers, educators, career counsellors and community groups.

  • Human Resources Centres of Canada (HRCCs), provide information on the location of HRCCs's offices. A listing is available in the blue pages of your local telephone directory and can also be found at www.hrsdc.gc.ca

  • Job Bank provides information on services for employers and job seekers. Visit Job Bank at www.jobbank.gc.ca
