Within the Director General's Office there are two main groups that are responsible for the following duties :
Planning and Coordination
- responsible for staffing, budget and administrative issues
Policy, Planning and Correspondence
- Implementation of measures to better protect the privacy of Canadians in policy analysis, research and evaluation activities
- Develop annual evaluation plan
- EDD quality control process for publications
- Process Access to Information requests
- Market Evaluation and Data Development knowledge and expertise at various forums
