Did You Know?
Once you have a Traveller Identification Number (TIN), it stays with you throughout your government career; even if you change departments. You do not need to apply for a new TIN when switching departments - just remember to update your Traveller Profile in the TAV Portal and to contact your new Departmental Expense Administrator (DEA) to ensure you have the appropriate EMT roles as determined by your travel needs within your new position.

Welcome

Welcome to Travel AcXess Voyage, the integrated government travel service that enables you to book and manage travel simply and efficiently.

This portal is your gateway to booking travel via the On-line Booking Tool. Travel AcXess Voyage also provides access to a Full-service Travel Agency, a convenient government travel card, and responsive 24/7/365 traveller support.

By the end of 2006, all employees will be able to use this Travel AcXess Voyage portal to manage all travel services from start to finish with the addition of the Expense Management Tool. Once implemented, automated services will include:
  • estimating the cost of a trip
  • booking travel
  • requesting and receiving travel authorizations
  • receiving a TAN by e-mail
  • having an electronic expense report automatically filled out with Travel Card purchases
  • submitting expense claims electronically
A select group of employees from a limited number of departments and agencies is currently using the Expense Management Tool and the fully integrated service. The full service will be phased in for use by the remaining departments and agencies over the next year.

To access the automated services, on the portal, simply login or request a TIN from the left navigation bar. Reference guides are available once you login.
