Service Buyback Estimator Disclaimer

The Service Buyback Estimator is designed to be used by employees to provide an estimate of the cost of buying back prior full time Pensionable Service.

This Estimator is intended to give pension plan members a general idea of the cost of buying back prior service, based on data provided by the plan member. The explanations provided are general in nature and describe only the most common aspects of the legislative provisions concerning Service Buyback (elective service). They may not address a particular situation. Please consult your compensation advisor to confirm whether specific periods of service may be bought back and to determine the exact cost of buying back any period of service. In case of apparent conflict between the applicable legislative provisions and the information obtained through the use of this estimator, the legislative provisions will apply.
