The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) executes the peer review competitions of the PRRS, with assistance from Sciences and Engineering Research Canada (NSERC), and administers the consequent contribution agreements.

The first call for proposals under the PRRS program closed September 30, 2005, and we expect to announce funding decisions by early 2006. Calls for proposals under the PRRS program will typically be issued once a year.
