The federal and Yukon governments will each contribute $16 million to the $32 million Canada-Yukon Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund. Municipal and First Nation applicants will also share project costs. Up to $48 million will be spent on Yukon projects.
The Canada-Yukon Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund targets infrastructure projects that will improve the quality of life and economic opportunities of Yukon communities.
