Tracadie-Sheila, N.B. - The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) advises eastern New Brunswick's tuna fishers that the DFO Eastern N.B. Area Office requires advance notification of the number of fishers intending to participate in the Ex-Sector Tuna Fishery, scheduled to start next August.

Interested tuna fishers must, therefore, register their intentions to participate in this fishery with the Eastern N.B. Area Office prior to 4:00 p.m. on June 30, 1996. Please note that no application will be accepted beyond this date.
