Catapleiite Mineral Specimen

Our country's heritage encompasses rich and diverse areas, including unique and irreplaceable 'works of art' created by nature. An impressive mineral specimen collected at Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, regarded as among the top three Catapleiite specimens in the world, based on its rarity, size and beauty was purchased in 1998 by the Royal Ontario Museum, aided by a grant from the Department' Movable Cultural Property Grants Program.
