Drawing titled Young Country Girl Dancing by François Boucher (French, 1703-1770)

In 1998, through the Movable Cultural Property Grants' Program, the Art Gallery of Ontario acquired this stunning drawing by the outstanding draftsman, François Boucher. This French artist's word is significant to Canada as it allows us - as does the works of art of other great European artists - to expand our appreciation of European art and our understanding of its influence on artistic developments in Canada.
