Frank Lloyd Wright furniture and window;

Frank Lloyd Wright is one of the world's most pre-eminent modern architects and designers. The pieces included here were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and were displayed in the parlour of Tokyo's Imperial Hotel from 1921-23.

The significance of these pieces lies in the fact that they are the only known examples of furniture or windows designed by Frank Lloyd Wright that are owned by a Canadian museum.

The Department of Canadian Heritage awarded a grant to the Royal Ontario Museum to assist in the purchase of these pieces.
