Assessment of Canadian Teachers' and Students' Needs For Educational Resources on the Web: Literature Review and Strategic Analysis

In keeping with Canadian Culture Online's objective of producing and making available to Canadians, the digital cultural content that will help promote our country's rich culture, history and heritage, the Department of Canadian Heritage endeavours to support the development of online information services for use by Canadian teachers and students. To do this, it is important to understand the needs and expectations of those most directly concerned.

In March 2005, CEFRIO, submitted a report, commissioned by Canadian Culture Online, which summarises a number of reports done recently in Canada, reviewing the state of teachers' and students' needs in order to benefit from online educational resources. This report is available to the public for non-commercial purposes.
