Breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs are reference points listed sequentially under the toolbar, at the top of each page. Breadcrumbs should be read from right to left, rather than the usual left to right. The name of the page you are currently viewing is displayed as the last item in the list. Then, each item listed to the left of it represents one level up in the hierarchy of documents, all the way back to the Home
page. Breadcrumbs are particularly useful if you are viewing a document that is stored a few levels down in the site; you can jump back a few levels by simply clicking on any item in the list of breadcrumbs.
Navigation menu on the left
Each page in the site is accompanied by a menu, provided in a side bar on the left of the screen. When you are viewing the Home page of the site, the menu presents the main sections of the site. Clicking on an item in the menu will display relevant information in the main area on the right, and, if applicable, a sub-menu will be displayed under the item you clicked, indicated that you can make
further selections to obtain more specific information. A user can thus drill down many levels in the site, when levels are offered. It should be noted that the menu only presents 1 or 2 levels at a time. If you drilled down to a third level in the site's hierarchy, you will no longer see the main menu that was displayed in the Home page. To back up, you can (1) use your browser's "Back" button,
(2) use the breadcrumbs near the top of the page, or (3) click on the "Home" button in the toolbar at the top of the page.
