Navigation

Various graphical conventions are used on the site to help you orient your location within Strategis collections, move quickly and easily between different levels of the information structure, and identify specific types of information, collections, and document formats. This Navigation section explains how to interpret these graphical conventions and understand the various icons, logos and graphics used throughout the site.

Navigating Strategis begins with the main menu page. From it you can link to any of the nine major Strategis categories, located across the top of the main page; one of the customized Strategis Guides using links in the left column; or one of the major Industry Canada Services located in the right hand column. In the centre column is where you can perform a Quick Search of the Strategis site, or use the Quick Index to locate products or services alphabetically.

Orient your location in Strategis by using the Site Map and breadcrumb navigation
Understand the common graphical interface conventions that appear throughout Strategis

Icon Glossary
The icons used throughout Strategis are grouped into one of three functions:

Toolbar icons on the upper toolbar
Identifiers that flag text, format types, or serve as navigation buttons
