You can use both your mouse and keyboard to browse through the IBOC web site. If you are using your keyboard, press the [Tab] key to proceed from one item on a page to another, and the [Enter] key to select an item.

To browse with your mouse, place the mouse pointer on the desired item and click once to select it.

To scroll up or down on a given page, click on the scroll bars in your web browser at the right and the bottom sides of each page.

Use the arrows or the [PageUp] and [PageDown] keys to scroll with your keyboard.

To view the list of items in a drop-down menu using your keyboard, select the menu with the [Tab] key then use the keyboard arrows to scroll through the items. To select the highlighted item, press the [Enter] key. When using your mouse, click on the small arrow head on the right-hand side of the drop-down menu to open the selection list and then click on the desired item.

Browsing through the IBOC web site is facilitated by the navigation menus at the top and left of each page. Clicking on any item of these menus will display the corresponding section of the IBOC web site. The menu items for both menus are described below.

For details on how the information you submit is used, click on the Important Notices link present at the bottom of each page.

This menu item changes the display of a page between English and French.

This section enables you to send IBOC your comments. To do so, complete the following information fields:

To search the IBOC web site for HTML or PDF documents, enter your keywords in the designated field and click the Search button to activate the search engine, or the Clear button to reset the field.

This section of the site displays general information about IBOC and links to other sections of the site.

IBOC uses the Virtual Trade Commissioner (VTC) and Canadian Company Capabilities (Strategis) databases to find Canadian companies. This section has links enabling you to register with the VTC and Strategis to position your company to receive international business leads.

This section of the site allows you to access links to other sites with content related or complementary to IBOC's.

This section provides a list of answers to frequently asked questions regarding IBOC services.

'Canadian Companies' is the default way to view the IBOC website. This 'view' of IBOC and its services is intended to serve Canadian companies. Non-Canadian companies are invited to visit that part of the site (see next item).
