The International Business Opportunities Centre (IBOC) provides a matching service, connecting foreign
buyers with Canadian companies. IBOC works in partnership with Canada's trade commissioners around the world
bringing business leads to Canadian firms.
To match those business leads with suitable Canadian companies, IBOC searches the Trade Commissioner
service database (Virtual Trade
Commissioner (VTC)) and Industry Canada's Canadian Company Capabilities
(Strategis)
database, as well as the vast resources of the Internet.
To position your company to receive international business leads, Canadian companies should register
with both the VTC and the CCC. Registration on both systems is free.
