Once You Receive Your Letter of Offer
This section highlights important information contained in your Letter of Offer.
The Letter of Offer confirms that Aboriginal Business Canada (ABC) has approved funding for your business venture. It outlines the conditions of ABC's commitment to you and to your business project.
Once you have received your Letter of Offer:
- Ensure your name and address are correct.
If they are not correct, do not sign the document. Contact your development officer to arrange the necessary changes and return the original copy. We will re-issue the document.
- Take note of your reference number(s).
ABC assigns a reference number to each project, or in some cases, to specific components of a project. These numbers are listed on the top right corner of the first page of your Letter of Offer. Always refer to these numbers when contacting ABC about your project or submitting a claim.
- Take note of your signature due date.
The opening paragraph of your Letter of Offer provides a date by which one original copy of the document must be signed and mailed back to ABC. Original signatures are required, not photocopies or facsimiles.
Please contact your development officer if you have any questions about your Letter of Offer, or are experiencing difficulty in submitting your signed Letter of Offer by the due date.
