Industry Canada’s Sustainable Development Strategy: Industry Canada’s Sustainable Development Strategy 2003-2006 is focussed on a theme of  "innovation and results" as a way to promote sustainable development that reflects the Department’s mandate to create the foundation for a more productive, competitive, knowledge-based economy.

Government of Canada’s Web Site on Climate Change: This site offers information on the science, impacts and adaptation to climate change. Furthermore, information on the design of a Canadian offset system for greenhouse gases is provided.

RETScreen® International: The RETScreen International Clean Energy Decision Support Centre seeks to build the capacity of planners, decision-makers and industry to implement renewable energy and energy efficient projects. The site offers tools and resources to better analyse the technical and financial viability of possible projects.

Renewable and Electrical Energy Division (Natural Resources Canada): This site displays information on renewable energy technologies. Several initiatives to encourage the development and use of emerging renewable energy sources and technologies are presented.

Canada’s Clean Energy Technologies Portal: This portal offers access to Canada’s rapidly increasing environmental energy sector. Furthermore, up-to-date international climate change initiatives are presented.

Directory of Energy Efficiency and Alternative Energy Programs in Canada: This directory provides information on the efficiency and alternative energy programs of the Canadian government, provincial and territorial governments, major electric and gas utilities, large companies and major Canadian municipalities.

Canada Renewable Energy Education and Training (CREET): The site offers educational tools and information on the training opportunities related to the renewable energies sector. The site also includes an extensive list of renewable energy education programs available in Canada and worldwide.

Canadian Biomass Innovation Network: The Canadian Biomass Innovation Network (CBIN) has been formed to coordinate the Federal Government's research and development activities in the area of bioenergy, biofuels and industrial biotechnology.

Trade Team Canada Environment : Trade Team Canada Environment is a public-private partnership aimed at increasing Canada's export of environmental products and services, as well as ensuring that our industry is recognized as a major global player.
