Closure of mining sites in Chile: a pending issue 2005-02-14
With international assistance, the National Geology and Mining Service is working to update the total number of known environmental legacies from mining, to analyse forms of recuperation activity where necessary and to generate juridical studies that will form the first proposals for legislation.
