The Construction Contracting sector consists of general contractors, who undertake the construction of entire structures, and trade contractors, who perform specialized services such as site preparation, structural work (steel or concrete), mechanical and electrical systems installations, and other interior and exterior work. The latter normally operate as subcontractor to the general contractor.
