Consumer Policy Research Database

The Consumer Policy Research Database is a collection of research references on consumer related topics. The database contains links to consumer research documents undertaken by university researchers, governments and non-profit organizations since 1998. The majority of these references pertain to Canada. However, selected international references are also included. Views expressed in these papers do not necessarily represent those of the Office of Consumer Affairs or Industry Canada.

Documents have been classified under 14 general topics, each with 3 to 7 sub-topics, for a total of 65 categories.

The database contains the title, author(s), date and language of publication, contact information and an abstract for each reference. Users are invited to suggest references for inclusion in the database (see “Submit a Document for the Database”)

Abstracts are available in both English and French.
