On June 7, 2005, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research
(CIHR) posted Updated
Guidelines for Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Research on its
Web site. NSERC and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research
Council (SSHRC) have an interim agreement with CIHR whereby the
three agencies have agreed, as a condition of funding, to
have their researchers adhere to the CIHR Updated
Guidelines, until such time as they can be incorporated into
the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research
Involving Humans. |
