Description

This map plate consists of two maps, each showing the density of population in every township as of 1911. One maps shows northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and most of Saskatchewan; the other map shows western Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Cities and towns of 5000 inhabitants or more are shown as black dots. The map uses eight classes, seven which are shades of brown. Numbers make it clear which class is being shown in any one township.
