Abstract

Bird sanctuaries areas of importance for the protection of migratory birds, their nests, and eggs. Nunavut has an abundance of sites favourable to the migratory habits of several bird species. At present, ten sanctuaries have been legislated as Migratory Bird Sanctuaries.
