Agent-assisted business tax help on Saturdays

Ottawa, January 29, 2003... The Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA) will have agent service on its business enquiries telephone lines Saturday, February 15 and Saturday, February 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This extended service will assist employers who may need help preparing T4 slips for employees.

The business enquiry telephone service operates year round, with agent-assisted service Monday to Friday between 8:15 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., and automated service the rest of the time.

The business enquiry telephone number is 1-800-959-5525.

The CCRA takes the privacy and confidentiality of client information very seriously. When calling the business enquiry service, clients are asked to answer personal and account-specific questions that confirm their authority to discuss the business account with the CCRA. Client account information is available only to those individuals who have authorization to access the account.
