Why EDC?

EDC is a Canadian financial institution devoted exclusively to providing trade finance services to support Canadian exporters and investors in some 200 markets, 130 of which are in developing markets.
EDC is dedicated to building a better-educated and trade-focused workforce by encouraging research and studies in international business and by offering relevant work experience.

Who can apply?
|
| |
Interested candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada. This includes: Canadian citizens; landed immigrants or persons having permanent residency. In addition, external candidates must be able to achieve the security clearance required for the position to which they are applying. At a minimum, employees of EDC are subject to security screening for enhanced reliability, however, specific positions may have more extensive security clearance requirements. Applicants must also be currently studying full-time at a recognized institution and be returning to full-time studies in the fall following the summer work term.

When?
|

The summer work term lasts for a period of approximately sixteen weeks (4 months) from May to August. To be considered for summer employment, the applications must be received by the deadline date specified on the job poster. Applications received after this deadline will not be reviewed.
