Welcome to the British Columbia (BC) Regional Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC). Although INAC's mission and objectives are the same across Canada, there are some unique elements to the work of BC Region.

For example, in BC we have a Joint Planning and Policy Forum between Canada and First Nations to discuss and make recommendations for departmental planning and policy development.

BC Region is also involved in treaty negotiations with many BC First Nations, while also providing, tools, resources and services to First Nations in a variety of areas.
