Delegation of Authorities Standard (C-D-01) [revised 2004-08-20]

Measurement Canada documents C-D-01:2003, Conditions for the Delegation of Authorities for the Calibration and Certification of Standards, Measuring Apparatus and Test Equipment Pursuant to the Electricity and Gas Inspection Act, and C-D-01-G:2003, Delegation of Authorities Program Guide have been revised. The revisions include editorial changes and some minor additions and clarifications.

Innovative Services Directorate (ISD) has developed (as a result of implementing recommendations from trade sector reviews) a new program that will allow organizations to calibrate and certify certain standards on behalf of Measurement Canada. This new delegation of authorities program is outside the scope of the accreditation program and has separate and distinct set of requirements.
