Regulatory Documents
Acts, regulations, licences and directives administered by the CNSC establish nuclear regulatory requirements. The CNSC provides instruction, assistance and information on these requirements, in the form of Regulatory Documents.
Four different types of Regulatory Documents have
been developed by the CNSC. For more information on specific documents, please
refer to:
Regulatory Document Framework
The regulatory document framework is a matrix of the documents the various
service lines of the CNSC use to govern nine safety areas.
The matrix can be viewed three different ways. Click on the “current” link to
see currently published regulatory documents. The “in progress” link will take
you to the documents which are currently being worked on. Or click on the
“proposed” link to see the proposed regulatory documents program for the next
year.
