BACKGROUNDER

Canadian Manufacturers Involved in ekocomfort Development

eKOCOMFORT is not the name of a single product, but rather a family of products which combine heating, hot water and ventilation into one system. eKOCOMFORT products must meet stringent energy efficiency and performance guidelines which were set by Natural Resources Canada following a series of consultations with manufacturers, the Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute (HRAI) and natural gas utilities. Six Canadian manufacturing groups are involved in the project:
