March 4, 2003 Conference for the Access to Information & Privacy and Security Communities |
A Learning Symposium for the Access to Information and Privacy and Security Communities will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2003 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Ottawa Congress Centre located at 55 Colonel By Drive,
Ottawa.
The theme of this year's conference is "Building the Learning Capacity of the ATIP and Security Communities: Key Tools for Personal Development" and its purpose is to expose participants to the concepts of personal learning and development, as well as providing members of the two communities an
opportunity
to network and foster a stronger working relationship in the workplace.
For this year's
conference there will be a choice of workshops to be held in the morning and
afternoon. Participants will be
required to select and register for the workshops of their choice.
The workshops emphasize strong management skills and promote a personal
learning agenda. Conference
attendees are encouraged to pursue further personal development opportunities
once they have been exposed to some of the tools available to them.
