This Information Notice is intended to provide clarification about the CAIR System accounts.
Only one account will be established for each institution, and it is recommended that it be created in the ATIP Coordinator’s name.
If the CAIRS account holder in your institution leaves, please contact Nancy Olive of the Information, Privacy and Security Policy Division (IPSPD) at (613) 945-3720 or via e-mail at
Olive.Nancy@tbs-sct.gc.ca so that the account may be deactivated.
Requests for new accounts must be sent by the ATIP Coordinator to Nancy Olive via e-mail at
Olive.Nancy@tbs-sct.gc.ca.
Please provide the name of the new account holder, their telephone number and e-mail address. Following these procedures will help to ensure the security of
CAIRS.
We would like to also remind all CAIRS users that changes to an institution’s firewall software and/or parameters can directly impact their access to
