Laboratory Guide for the Investigator
|
This is primarily a guide for investigators of crimes such as homicide, sexual assault, hit and run, etc. It is not a manual of laboratory procedures but rather it gives investigators an understanding of what the forensic laboratory can and cannot do and what they must do to make best use of the laboratory. Services include chemical, photographic, toxicological, firearms, toolmarks and document examination. While focusing on the Centre of Forensic Sciences and the Northern Regional Forensic Laboratory in Ontario, information in this guide could be useful for any investigators who need to conduct forensic research and analysis. |
