Main map gives locations (epicentres) of several thousand earthquakes occuring in or near Canada from 1568 to 1992; earthquakes classified by their magnitude and date. Table gives details on 24 significant earthquakes. One small map shows tectonics (geological features explaining seismic activity patterns). A second small map portrays seismic zones specified in the National Building Code.
