Countries in Europa: Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

In accordance with the UN Security Council resolution on this matter (817, 1993) Canada officially recognizes the name Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) in all official communications. Informally, the country is referred to as Macedonia.
